Reference List

Template

Title of Visualisation. Title of database. Publisher; year. Updated Month dd, year. Accessed Month dd, year. URL

Example

  1. Mackay HHS: Population Health Status Profile. Reporting year 2020. 2020 Chief Health Officer Report. Queensland Health. Accessed August 3, 2021. https://public.tableau.com/views/populationprofile/Page1?%3Aembed=y&%3Adisplay=no&%3AshowShareOptions=false&%3AshowVizHome=no

In this example, 'Reporting year 2020' is added as a note after the title to clarify which filter was applied to the data visualisation.

Notes

If individual authors are not named, omit the author element rather than naming the database as the 'author'.

If there is no apparent year when the dataset as a whole was published, omit the year of publication and provide an updated and/or accessed date, as available.

Provide your reader with enough information to navigate or retrieve the precise view of the data you are citing. You may need to include additional notes with your reference to do this (see Mackay HHS example).
