QUT Law students are required to adopt the Australian Guide to Legal Citation, 4^th edition (AGLC4) with clarity and consistency.

AGLC4 is available:

• in the Library.

Students should familiarise themselves with the general rules contained in Part 1 of AGLC4 relating to the format of:

• Footnotes - Rule 1.1
• Sources Referring to Other Sources - Rule 1.3
• Subsequent References - Rule 1.4
• Quotations - Rule 1.5
• Punctuation - Rule 1.6
• Bibliographies - Rule 1.13.
