This is the recommended QUT APA Style. It is based on the standards developed and maintained by the American Psychological Association (APA), and published in their Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association 5th ed (2001) and subsequent updates. APA 6 (2009) includes the use of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for electronic journal articles. Examples of this are provided for the use of Psychology students and postgraduates. Check that your lecturer or tutor uses the QUT recommended style before you begin your assignment.
