For general information about referencing, citing and writing, the booklets QUT cite and QUT write are available as part of the QUT cite|write kit.
Welcome gift for commencing students in Semester 1, 2008
In support of student learning and the first year experience, all commencing students, can collect a free kit at a Library Helpdesk on any campus (while stocks last). You will need to present your student card or proof of enrolment.

Staff and students can purchase copies of the QUT cite|write kit from QUT Bookshops across all campuses for the price of $8.00.
Print from home
The booklets are also available in PDF format and can be printed from this website. Select the publications you wish to print from the options in the navigation bar. Fold them and store them in your QUT cite|write folder.
The guides (citing, referencing and writing)
The writing guides and referencing/citing style guides are designed to be printed when and as you need them. You can also view them online. Again, print, fold and store them in the back pockets of your QUT cite|write folder.
Also - for a short time in Semester 1 - a selection of these guides will be available for you to collect from the Library Helpdesks. Each guide is colour-coded (QUT write guides are blue, and QUT cite guides are green). The topic of each guide is clearly indicated on the front of the publication.
